Travel preparation

What is a nomad?

From the Greek "Odos", which means "The Road", someone nomadic is defined as being "without a fixed dwelling", living and moving according to the seasons.

Why to choose this new way of life?

Many people in our society see nomadism in a negative light. Considered marginal and unstable, the nomad nevertheless makes an assumed life choice. To understand the reasons that push people to nomadism, we must look at the side of our Western world and its lot of vices : social shackles, materialism and the call for consumption lead some to flee this way of life.

For our part, we liked our daily lives, we were not the most to complain about. But despite all our efforts to live healthily and with respect for our values, we dreamed of going on an adventure far from home, towards new lands. Our escapades of a few days in the neighboring mountains were no longer enough for us, we wanted more landscapes, discoveries, meetings. But there is no question of going on an adventure in a 4x4 and sleeping in an all-inclusive hotel .

What awaits us

There is nothing like nomad life for itinerant travel. We decide where we want to go, stay there for a while or leave the next day. A life of freedom above all. But not only. Becoming a nomad also means looking every day for a new place to put your roof, not getting too attached to a place or a person, and putting comfort in brackets ... In short, this choice of life also has its share of difficulties.

But nomadism is above all an opportunity to rediscover yourself as humans, to return to basic and simple values, to leave aside the vices, the noise, the stress and the obligations of everyday life. To become a nomad is to return to the present moment, to give importance to each meter traveled, to each second that passes.
